VACUUM DISTILLATION

     Every industrial wastewater is different. The variety of applications requires a customized wastewater treatment system. Thus we don't have the VACUDEST wastewater treatment system "off the shelf".

  POTENTIAL USES:

Metal processing

     Various waste waters arise from metal working and processing. This is a question of used cooling lubricants, and polluted baths from parts cleaning units. We offer complete process water circulation units as an alternative to waste disposal.

Surface purification and hardening

     During surface treatment by way of, e.g. hardening, pickling or vibratory grinding, large amounts of polluted and chemical contaminated waste waters accumulate. These must either be expensively disposed of or treated.

Washing and cleaning

     In many production processes dirty components or containers have to be cleaned with water. Cleaning by spray, dip, brush or ultrasound results in polluted rinsing and active baths.

Powder coating and surface treatment

     In the pretreatment plants of surface treatment, polluted water and active-process baths result from spray, immersion and ultra sonic cleaning.

Material recovery

     In electroplating technology valuable materials and chemicals are used in watery solutions. On the one hand the rinsing water has to be treated because the concentration of these valuable substances is too low for re-use, on the other hand it is still too high so that the waste waters can not be let into the sewage system without waste water treatment.

Chemical and further applications

     In the chemical industry or in food manufacturing, a great amount of contaminated water results from the manufacturing and cleaning process. The VACUDEST® process allows these waste waters to be concentrated by vacuum distillation simply and affordably. These concentrates can be directed straight back into the process or the small amount of residual substance can be disposed of.
